• Sustainability •

Our plant melts down and recycles steel scrap.

We are committed to sustainable operations and recycling at every stage of our activities. We are putting
value back into steel scrap in a resource-conserving and responsible way, while other materials are used
economically in the casting process. Our ongoing improvements in the field of air quality and melting
processes, energy efficiency and waste management measures serve to reduce environmental pressures.

Sustainable operations are a guiding principle of our strategy.

Our aim is to continuously promote environmental protection and sustainability. To accomplish this, we set and work towards specific environmental targets at every level of our operation and every stage of our manufacturing process. For us, achieving these goals involves a long-term process of continuous improvement, shared by all our employees.

We work towards a circular economy.

Busch-Hungária introduced ISO 14001 shortly after its foundation in 2008, and our environmental policy sets out a strict system to govern our objectives. Our company complies with all environmental and other legislation and local community requirements regarding environmental management and our manufacturing activities. We urge our suppliers to observe this approach in their operation as well. We ask our suppliers to apply this approach and operation.
