Buildings renewed step by step
A workplace always means more than just the conscientious and accurate performance of tasks. The employees of Busch-Hungária form a community where people care for each other, and the well-being of every colleague is important. This is closely connected to the environment around us, as we feel better in nice, clean, more demanding conditions. That is why our Company is carrying out a comprehensive renovation of the community areas of the foundry and the office.
To ensure that a working day starts and ends well, it is important for the employees to have the opportunity to use sanitary facilities and change clothes in a hygienic and clean environment, the dressing rooms were among the first to be renovated. The shower cabins were renovated in 2020, and the use of dressing room lockers was transformed in 2021. The repair maintenance of empty lockers was carried out to ensure that every employee can use two lockers, e.g., one for their street clothes and one for their work clothes. Some of the lockers were difficult to keep clean due to their condition, that is why, in January 2022 we started the external and internal renovation of the lockers, so all our colleagues can use lockers which are as good as new.
Besides the dressing rooms, another area that is important in terms of our everyday comfort is the dining area. That is why the dining facilities, including all their furnishing, were also renovated in the first months of this year. The dining containers at the smelting plant have been renovated, and at other locations replaced. As a result of the development, the dining facilities have a more comfortable internal layout, new sinks have been installed, and our staff have been provided with new furniture and equipment – fridges, microwave ovens, kettles. Safe cabinets have also been placed in the containers to provide the possibility for the employees to store their most important personal items in a clean place during their shifts. The rooms have been decorated with pictures to make the rest time even more pleasant.
We try to develop our company taking our employees’ needs into account, and this includes the appearance of the whole of the company as well. Going to work to a nice, decorated place feels better; furthermore, the impression our guests get about the company is also important. That is why some of our building parts have been decorated in a modern style, reflecting the renewed image of our company. As a first step, we renovated the information column, the entrances of the plant hall and the office building, and renovated the glass wall of the corridor connecting our buildings, where a large Busch-Hungária sign indicates our place. Several parts of our meeting rooms and offices have also been reconstructed, providing modern and cozy environment for our staff. The renovations will be continued in the internal spaces of the plant and the office building.
